A free, two-day restorative weekend for U.S. veterans and first responders to rest, reflect, and reconnect through the healing partnership of horses.

At Hosanna Horse Haven, rescued horses help rescue humans right back. Through guided equine activities, mindfulness practices, and reflection circles, participants experience calm, connection, and the reminder that they are never alone.
This retreat is free of charge for all participants, made possible through community sponsors and donors who believe in Humans Healing Horses, Horses Healing Humans™.
What to Expect
A transformative experience
Equine-Guided Sessions
Experience a trauma-informed approach to equine connection blending mindfulness, body awareness, and emotional regulation.
Mindfulness & Reflection
Gentle grounding, light meditation, and small-group discussions to release stress and restore clarity.

Cost: Free to all participants
Lodging: Provided by local partners (pending confirmations)
Saturday: Arrival, welcome circle, equine-guided sessions, shared dinner, campfire reflection
Sunday: Mindfulness, small-group work, equine connection time, closing circle

About Hosanna Horse Haven
Hosanna Horse Haven (H3) is a 501(c)(3) equine sanctuary and therapeutic learning center in Bryan, Ohio. We rescue and rehabilitate horses who, in turn, help people heal through equine-assisted learning, wellness coaching, and community connection.
We are certified through PATH Intl. and WISE Equine Coaching, and are one of only two barns in Ohio certified to facilitate the Equine Wisdom Integrated Method (EWIM).
